I am from Brown City, where I also grew up.  In Brown City I worked as an aide for 2nd grade for eight years; which is when I decided I truly loved teaching and working with children.  I then pursued my teaching degree through University of Michigan-Flint; where I graduated in May of 2008.  I taught Young Fives here in Peck last year and tutored 8th grade students. 

I have been happily married to my husband Steve for 20 years.  We have three children; Tyler (19), Trenton (18), and Taylor (16).  Tyler has started his 2nd year of college, Trenton plays football and basketball in Brown City, Taylor plays basketball and softball in Brown City as well.  We love spending time with our family!  Camping is our summertime favorite!  A couple of my hobbies include:  scrapbooking, photography (senior pictures & weddings), and yoga.
