Important Update from Peck Community Schools

As most of you are aware, MDHHS is mandating a partial closure (grades 9-12) for the state starting at 12:00 am on Wednesday, 11/18/20.  At this time, we feel that we can safely operate and staff our buildings.  If you would like to discuss programming options for your student/family, please call your child’s office.  Please read below to see how this impacts your family:

ELEMENTARY (Preschool-5th Grade):

School will remain open as usual.  There will be no changes to student schedules and all staff will be here to serve our students and families.  If you have questions or concerns, please contact the elementary office at 810-378-5200 ext 1. 

JUNIOR HIGH (6th, 7th, and 8th Grades):

School will remain open as usual.  There will be no changes to student schedules and staff will be here to serve our students and families.  If you have questions or concerns, please contact the junior-senior high school office at 810-378-5200 ext 2.

HIGH SCHOOL  (9th-12th Grade):

All classes will be virtual as 9-12 in-person classes are cancelled per the MDHHS’s order beginning Wednesday through Tuesday, December 8th.  Staff will be here to serve our students and families during the school day.  A schedule and virtual expectations will be released Wednesday morning for students to follow. Meal pickup will be available every Wednesday from 12:30-2 pm in the circle drive.  If you have questions, please contact the junior-senior high school office at 810-378-5200 ext 2.

Virtual School dates during closure: November 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 30; December 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8

Other Important Information:

·       All extracurricular activities (including athletics) are suspended

·       Transportation will run as scheduled

·       Food service is open and menu remains the same for in-person students

·       Food pickup for virtual students is Wednesday from 12:30-2 pm. (No pickup next week)

·       School day remains 8:30-2:30 for in-person students

·       Devices will be available Tues 11/17 for students in grades 9-12 who do not have one at home

·       Masks are still required for all students, staff, and visitors
