School Closed Sign

(4:00 PM)Parents, students, staff, and community-

Today our staff worked to create materials for students in grades K-12 who wish to continue to learn during the closure.  None of the materials that we will be providing are mandatory. They will not impact our students' grades, but are simply designed as practice for students who want to continue to grow while they are forced to stay at home.

These materials will be distributed several ways to students and families.

  • All handouts/resources are available on the school's website (peckschools.org) in the documents tab under menu. Next, click on the folder labeled "enrichment activities," and finally on the grade level that applies to your student. You may print these if you want but you are not required to do so.
  • Hard copies of the packets will be delivered on Wednesday, March 18th to all students who opted for food delivery.
  • You may come pick up a packet during lunch pickup on Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 am.
  • The junior high and high school packets will be available at several locations around town.
  • If none of these work for your family, please call to make an appointment to pick up in person.

We have determined a list of events and activities that will be canceled and not re-scheduled as well as several that are postponed with the hopes of re-scheduling at a later date.  You may those at https://www.peckschools.org/article/210551?org=peck-community-schools

One notable event is this week's Fish Fry. We have decided to do this as pick up only. We are working on an ordering system so that you may still enjoy the world famous Athletic Booster's Fish Fry!

The weekend food program will be delivered this week with the lunch deliveries. Several community groups are helping to ramp up our efforts with this program.  If you are part of the weekend food program and have questions, please call the Superintendent's office.

The Superintendent's office will be open Monday through Thursday from 9-2 pm for the next two weeks. Please remember to call first for an appointment and conduct as much business as possible remotely for the time being.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time,

Bill Kerr
