The Peck High School varsity E-Sports team competed in their first national qualifier this past week. The team was able to earn a victory versus a team from Hugoton High School in Hugoton, Kansas in the championship to take the win. The victory gives our Pirate team an early advantage in the All American ESports League and a significant chance to earn a bid to the National Championship. Congratulations to the players and Coach Anklam on a well-deserved victory!
Reminder today is the Elementary Cross Country meet in Croswell behind the middle school by the softball/baseball field. Wear a Peck or red shirt as our shirt order isn't complete yet.

Hello parents! The class of 2029 is excited to be sponsoring a fundraiser the week of homecoming, which is only two short weeks away. We are going to hold a Pie the Teacher event! Students and staff will be able to put money into milk jugs with teachers' pictures on them, as well as milk jugs with football players' pictures on them. The football player with the most money gets to pie the teacher with the most money! In order to make this work, we need a lot of gallon jugs. Please send in as many as you are able, and please make sure that they are clean and rinsed and dried first. Thank you so much for your support!
On Wednesday our 4th grade classes were able to take a field trip to Project R.E.D. This was an especially fun day because it was learning all about the different opportunities in our community! We are thankful that Farm Bureau continues to invite us and for each student to be able to learn something new!

This week in kindergarten, Mrs. Langan's students read the story, "My Mouth is a Volcano," and created their own clay volcanoes! They sculpted, painted, and created a chemical reaction using baking soda and vinegar to make an eruption. The video in the comments highlights their very excited reactions! 🌋

Attention Pirate Fans:
A few reminders for attending sporting events at the school:
There is not outside food or drinks allowed in the athletic complexes.
No pets are allowed on school grounds.
Elementary students cannot just be dropped off and left alone at the games, they must be accompanied by an adult.
Fans need to be positive to our coaches, student athletes, and other spectators.
Once you enter the game you cannot leave the game.
There is no smoking or vaping on the school grounds.
Students cannot stay at the school until the time of the game, student athletes will be given an arrival time and will coach supervision.
