Good Afternoon 7th Grade families. Today a letter went home explaining some important information about collecting class dues. We will be starting this September 3rd and ask that all money be turned into Mrs. Sharrard in the office by September 27, 2024. Transportation: due to congestion on one bus route we will be running a separate PM bus route for our town stops beginning this afternoon. If your child lives in town, they may arrive at your bus stop several minutes early today. This will cut the time of bus #4 PM route considerably. Thank you for your patience.
Attention all Jr/Sr high parents:
Today, we experienced some very hot weather both outside and inside our building, which unfortunately does not have air conditioning. Many students came dressed in sweatpants and sweatshirts, which made it difficult for them to stay comfortable in the heat. For tomorrow, we strongly encourage all students to wear shorts and a t-shirt to help them stay cool throughout the day.
Additionally, I’d like to remind our JR/SR high students that breakfast will be served starting at 7:45 AM. Please remind your child to get their breakfast as soon as they arrive at the building. They can enjoy their meal in the cafeteria before starting their day.
Overall, it was a great first day back, and we’re excited for the year ahead. Thank you for your continued support and for helping us ensure that your children are prepared for the hot weather tomorrow.
Junior High Volleyball - Practice starts tonight for girls in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. It is from after school until 5 pm (I apologize for some previous miscommunication on times.). Practice is in the cafeteria/old gym. Our practices will be after school M-Th this week and T-Fri next week from after school until 5 pm each day. We will have JH Volleyball pictures next Tuesday, September 3rd at practice .

Good morning, Pirates. For all students in Mrs. Shephard's English classes (10th-12th graders), you will need the following supplies for class: a 1.5 inch 3-ring binder, a pack of 5 tabbed dividers, some looseleaf paper, and writing utensils. If you could have these by the second day of school, your child will be all set to dive into the school year. If you cannot get them by that time, it's okay, as I do have many binders that were donated that they can use. Good evening, just a reminder for our meet the teams night tomorrow night at 6:00 pm. JV and Varsity volleyball, Varsity Cross Country, and Varsity Cheer will be in attendance. The event will be held in the High School gym. There will be a chance to talk to coaches after introductions of teams. Varsity Football held their meet the team Friday night at the red and white game, they will not be in attendance.
